Spread out amongst the dreary grey of everyday are those shimmering nuggets of hope known as "The Holidays". But as we all know, sometimes a shimmering nugget is fools gold. Drawing on styles from some of my favorite old school songwriters like Tom Lehrer, Warren and Dubin, A.C. Jobim, Irving Berlin and Cole Porter these five songs explore the ups and downs of those days when we're off.
